چکیده
Methane abatement pathways in Pd/Rh three-way catalysts have been investigated three scales ranging from a vehicle application size catalyst, model gas reactor and the catalyst powder form. A special test rig was designed for investigation of catalysts, allowing sampling along at discrete spatial locations, which are subject to different feed compositions. Dependent on history chemical environment significant differences methane conversion rate identical identified. At steady state low reaction pathway identified as limited only direct oxidation by oxygen. Following rich-to-lean transition, exhibited more than 8 times higher rates compared state. The high attributed activation steam reforming (SR) related transient reduction ceria. SR efficiency decreased with time finally converged levels. findings were validated using enabling analysis under well-defined deactivation further analyzed infrared spectroscopy (DRIFTS). Evidences DRIFTS measurements showed that linked formation carbonaceous species surface, most likely carbonates. coherent results engine exhaust analysis, study give important insights pathways. this suggest formulation operation strategies should focus stimulation maintenance activity towards through targeted periodic lean/rich transitions.

PdOx/Pd at Work in a Model Three-Way Catalyst for Methane Abatement Monitored by Operando XANES
The oxidation state of palladium in a model Pd/ ACZ three-way catalyst was monitored by synchronous XANES and mass spectrometry during two consecutive heating (to 850 C) and cooling (to 100 C) cycles under stoichiometric conditions simulating exhaust after treatment of a natural gas engine. During heating in the first cycle, PdO reduction occurred around 500 C and the initial fully oxidized sta...

15 صفحه اولon translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach
abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
